Valrhona Andoa 70% dark chocolate bar is created from a single origin cocoa grown in Piura in Northern Peru. It’s primary flavour is zingy notes of citrus fruit, balanced by secondary notes of wood and an underlying bitterness. A pervading roasted flavour brings a depth and length of flavour characteristic of Valrhona chocolate.Â
All producers in the Piura cooperative are organic and Fair Trade certified, and committed to sustainable production methods.Â
