Yutaka mirin adds depth of flavour, sweetness and a glossy appearance to Japanese sauces and marinades. Made from glucose syrup, water and fermented rice alcohol, the sweet rice seasoning is a key ingredient in teriyaki sauces. This mirin falls within the shio mirin category as it contains 2% alcohol.Â
To make teriyaki sauce, mix together the following ingredients:
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp cooking sake
- 1 tsp sugar

Storage: store in a cool, dry and dark place. Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 3 months.
