With sorbitol powder, you can give your cookies, fruit crumbles and chocolate tarts a light sweet flavour, without the need to use as much sugar. The sugar-free powder is a natural product and can be used alongside sugars and gelling agents.
Sorbitol can also be used as a stabiliser when making pastry, and increases the shelf life of homemade confectionery.Â
