Use Vegi Gel to set rich chocolate mousses, silky cheesecakes and light soufflés. This vegetarian and vegan-friendly setting agent can be used for both sweet and savoury dishes.Â
Vegi Gel produces a clear gel which won’t alter the colours in your dishes and can be used with both dairy and soya products.
Follow the below instructions for using Vegi Gel:
- Dosage: 1 – 2 %. (10-20 grams per litre of water or liquid depending on application).
- Add Vegi Gel gradually to heated water or liquid whilst constantly stirring.Â
- Heat to boiling point and stir until all Veg Gel is dissolved.Â
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.Â
- Vegi Gel sets above room temperature.
Ingredients: Dextrose monohydrate, carrageenan (E407), potassium chloride (E508), calcium acetate (E263), locust bean gum (E410).
Allergy Advice:Â Suitable for vegetarians & vegans, non GMO, gluten free, non irradiated.
Storage: store in dry, cool conditions and not in direct sunlight. Use within 6 months of opening.
