Green tea flavour quick cook tapioca pearls are traditionally used to make the popular Taiwanese drink, boba, or bubble tea. These tapioca pearls are small, translucent spheres made with tapioca starch (which comes from the cassava root) and have a chewy texture. The addition of green tea powder gives these tapioca pearls a light green hue, and slightly vegetal flavour. 

These green tea flavoured tapioca pearls have been pre-cooked and are ready in 5 minutes. 

Green tea is a popular flavouring for bubble tea, and to give an extra earthy flavour, black tea leaves can be swapped for matcha green tea powder.

Ingredients: Tapioca starch (42.79%), water, corn starch, thickener (E412), green tea powder (0.4%), preservative (E262 (ii)), flavouring, colour (E102, E133). E102: May have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
